Description
This is the back of an old brick building across the tracks at the Salisbury, Depot. It has the old signs and the more current "Tagging" that attempts to remove can be seen. The Building is being saved now and work goes on to perserve it.

Cool shot, Wilma. I'll be in Salisbury tomorrow and might try to look this one up. Also hoping to get a redo on the Cheerwine mural near the train depot.

I enjoyed viewing to photo that is looking into the past.
Wilma Birdwell replied:
Thank you, Linda, so much of my past is part of this area, it is across from the Salisbury Depot, where I got my first train ride, and the Mailman picked my Mother and I up and took us home. I was 10 days old.

Now how cool is this? That building is fantastic, and what a "canvas" for the Coke advertising. Wonderful that efforts are being made to save it. Thank you for posting in Abandoned and Forlorn. f/v

Thank you Don. Salisbury, NC is a great place to be with a camera! So much beautiful history. G Washington didn't sleep there but he did think it was a nice town....and thank you for starting this group!
