Artist's Description

This is a B-4 Henderson motorcycle engine, with a Heath Parasol kit modification. These engines were used to fly early (1921 to 1931) Heath kit single seat kit airplanes. Early DIY in American aviation, for under $1,000 you could build your own airplane, with a kit that had everything you needed with a few simple tools. Cool things come into Cyclemo's all the time.

About Wilma Birdwell

Wilma Birdwell

I have always loved to take photos all my life. I only had point and shot cameras. Not very good ones but I still loved the magic of trying. I was in an accident and I had gotten a 3pix camera to walk with as part of the healing process. The cheapest part of it too. But the more shots I took, I began to learn more and get better. So this is where I am today. I still love taking shots of about anything and trying shots that they say will not work. Some have and some not. But I am now on a new journey to see if there is anyone who likes what I do enough to pay for it. I don't have a style. If I see some thing that gets my attention I will shoot it with wild abandon. My family and friends are driven up the wall!
