Artist's Description
One of my Father's old shotguns. The Southern Arms Co. arms were made by Crescent Firearms. Stamped on the weapon also is "Genuine Armory Steel & Choke Bored". I do not know a lot about guns. I was well trained in using and gun safety, Daddy would take us to work sometimes. He ran the gun range at Stewart Air Base in TN. We all lived too, I still remember at 5 yrs old shooting that 45. I still see it spinning in the air...
About Wilma Birdwell
I have always loved to take photos all my life. I only had point and shot cameras. Not very good ones but I still loved the magic of trying. I was in an accident and I had gotten a 3pix camera to walk with as part of the healing process. The cheapest part of it too. But the more shots I took, I began to learn more and get better. So this is where I am today. I still love taking shots of about anything and trying shots that they say will not work. Some have and some not. But I am now on a new journey to see if there is anyone who likes what I do enough to pay for it. I don't have a style. If I see some thing that gets my attention I will shoot it with wild abandon. My family and friends are driven up the wall!
