About Wilma Birdwell
I have always loved to take photos all my life. I only had point and shot cameras. Not very good ones but I still loved the magic of trying. I was in an accident and I had gotten a 3pix camera to walk with as part of the healing process. The cheapest part of it too. But the more shots I took, I began to learn more and get better. So this is where I am today. I still love taking shots of about anything and trying shots that they say will not work. Some have and some not. But I am now on a new journey to see if there is anyone who likes what I do enough to pay for it. I don't have a style. If I see some thing that gets my attention I will shoot it with wild abandon. My family and friends are driven up the wall!

Thank you so much Lois, I love these old tools as well. They don't care if they look old or fat.

I love old tools ... your use of shallow dof and the lovely tones and interesting bokeh colors takes this well-used beauty to the level of great art!!!!! f/v

Wilma~This is great! Love rusty things. This is almost like a bronze statue and treated by you with such reverence. I love that about your work. Excellent....
Wilma Birdwell replied:
Thank you Lenore, I think got the word I have beening trying to find now "reverence" for the people who made is plane and the people who used it. Reverence and respect. Thanks Lenore, for all your help and kind words. Have a great day!
