You have a great eye for composition and use of available lighting, a simple, yet compeling image!!! Beautiful work!!! V/F

Wilma Birdwell replied:

Thanks so much Steven. This was one of those I didn't know I could not do it so I liked what I saw and made the shot and "see what happens". I love cameras!

Wonderful work, Wilma. Your careful attention to composition shows... love the angle of the stairs and the way they lead into the emptiness of the warehouse.

Thank you Lenore and David! I wish I had the way with words you two have! I am more into neat, love it, etc, I'll let the camera speak for me. Thanks everybody for the postive comments. They are welcome!

Hello, Wilma~~Welcome to the Old MASTERS group. Actually, you do have a style. You are interested in abstracts, patterns, and the comfort of the ordinary (and home). Things that also interest me so I love your gallery. Don't judge the quality of your work by whether they sell!!! This shot is wonderful for abstract lines and the inherent beauty of architecture. I am giving this a vote & fave....and adding you to my watch list.

About Wilma Birdwell

Wilma Birdwell

I have always loved to take photos all my life. I only had point and shot cameras. Not very good ones but I still loved the magic of trying. I was in an accident and I had gotten a 3pix camera to walk with as part of the healing process. The cheapest part of it too. But the more shots I took, I began to learn more and get better. So this is where I am today. I still love taking shots of about anything and trying shots that they say will not work. Some have and some not. But I am now on a new journey to see if there is anyone who likes what I do enough to pay for it. I don't have a style. If I see some thing that gets my attention I will shoot it with wild abandon. My family and friends are driven up the wall!
