Artist's Description

Without invading anyone's privacy of the new owner and you Johnny I would like to share some of your story. I was thinking about you Johnny while I was shooting your bike, the 73,167 mile on the odometer of this beautiful 1941 Harley Davidson. I thought about the fun and adventures you had with your two loves, your wife and this bike. With the open road, the wind in your face, and her arms wrapped around you. When the new owner picked the bike up he took her over to where you rest now and she asked if it was ok to sell the bike.
Don't worry, Mike and Dave at Cyclemo's will preserve beautifully. It's new rider will ride and cherish it as you did, until it is time for another young rider to take it out for fun and adventure with their love.

About Wilma Birdwell

Wilma Birdwell

I have always loved to take photos all my life. I only had point and shot cameras. Not very good ones but I still loved the magic of trying. I was in an accident and I had gotten a 3pix camera to walk with as part of the healing process. The cheapest part of it too. But the more shots I took, I began to learn more and get better. So this is where I am today. I still love taking shots of about anything and trying shots that they say will not work. Some have and some not. But I am now on a new journey to see if there is anyone who likes what I do enough to pay for it. I don't have a style. If I see some thing that gets my attention I will shoot it with wild abandon. My family and friends are driven up the wall!
