Description
This is a Russian Army sniper rifle made in 1939. What I find interesting about this weapon is that it is covered with all kinds of stamps. Some from the manufacturer, the units, and battles the weapon was in. There are crude marks made also on the wood parts of the stock. I looked up some of the stamps to try to determine what they were but there are so many different stamps that I decided to spend the rest of my life doing something else. These are tough weapons, this one is still in use. I have not fired it because I a wimp. The kick is more than I want to experience.
